Founded in 2022 by a veterinarian with extensive expertise in Research & Development, BioAZ is a biotechnology company redefining animal health through a new generation of immunotherapies.

Built on scientific excellence and a deep understanding of field realities, BioAZ develops high-value solutions that enhance animal health and welfare while supporting the transition toward more sustainable, responsible, and ethical livestock farming practices.

The founder

Romain Delcombel has 15 years of experience in innovation, research and development of medicines for human and veterinary use.

After following entrepreneurship training at INSEAD in 2021, he founded the company BioAZ in 2022 with the aim of developing immunotherapies dedicated to animal health and well-being, with the immunocastration of pigs as his first project. in response to the problem of boar taint.
